Heel pain or plantar fasciitis was previously something mature adults suffered with. However due to the craze of forefoot running (toe - running) we are seeing an explosion of heel pain in the young to middle aged adults.
The band known as the plantar fascia starts at the heel and fans out to the toes it gets a repetitive yanking from forefoot running. In someone who is new to this running style the band can often be tight causing an over stress inflammatory reaction.
